New Year’s Celebration

  • Nordisk Kadampa Meditasjonssenter 26 Majorstuveien Oslo, 0367 Norway (map)

Out with the old, in with the new - A peaceful, alternative way of celebrating the new year

During this lovely, fun-filled and meaningful evening, we enjoy a short talk and meditation, each others’ company, a vegetarian buffet, some live music and a small fundraising auction.

Join us for a delicious shared vegetarian buffet followed by a short talk with Gen Dragpa (in English) about how we can develop our own potential for happiness and peace and enjoy a very special and wonderful 2022.

After the talk there will be a guided meditation to reflect on the passing year and make intentions for the year to come.

This is followed by an uplifting chanted meditation (Avalokiteshvara puja) to bring in the new year at midnight which is dedicated to world peace.

This event is open to all and you do not need to be Buddhist to attend or enjoy! You are welcome to come alone or bring friends.
