Worry is a mental response to things we have little or no control over. However, no amount of worry or stress can solve the actual problem, it actually can make things worse.
In this meditation workshop with Gen Kelsang Dragpa, learn to overcome worry and anxiety and to enjoy a deeper quality of life that can only come from inner peace.
When we are anxious we feel tense and are unable to enjoy anything. We all deeply wish to experience peace of mind but the methods we are using now to attain this are not always working.
If we are to respond to difficult situations with a positive or peaceful mind they would not be problems for us. Instead of feeling anxious we would feel calm, clear and happy, regardless of the circumstances.
Gen Dragpa will teach simple meditations and ways of thinking that can help to reduce and eliminate worries so that we can enjoy the deep happiness and contentment that naturally arises when our mind is peaceful.

Gen Kelsang Dragpa is the Resident Teacher at Kadampa meditasjonssenter Oslo, and National Spiritual Director for the Nordic Region.
He has been practising and teaching Kadampa Buddhism for many years and has been an ordained monk since 1993.
His way of teaching is very practical and easy to understand.
